Souvenons nous que la Thaïlande, alors appelée Siam, a aussi participé à la Première Guerre Mondiale. Vers la fin, mais quand même. Elle a envoyé une brigade et des élèves-pilotes en France en 1918, qui n'ont pas eu le temps de vraiment combattre. 19 Thaïs ont péri pendant cette Guerre. (Krabi, Thaïlande, Asie du Sud-Est)
